Scarlet Elf: Delightful Homemade Treats and Hearty Meals in Newport, PA

The food is delicious. I’ve been here twice in person and one time my boyfriend ordered lumch for me while I was at work. I had the scramble bowl (YUM!), the chocolate chip pancake (YUM!!!), and a ham & cheese panini (YUM!!!!!). I also have some chili here to try yet, I’m excited. The owners are very nice people. Extremely sweet. They will spark up joyful conversations. And finally, this place is a holly jolly extravaganza. Yummy hot sauces (I tried ‘nice approved’, it has a nice flavor and very minimal heat, very very tasty on the panini I must say). After having lived in Newport since March of this year, and coming here twice, both times have been so pleasant.

We have eaten here twice and enjoyed it both times. Interesting menu options are often added. You can eat healthy here. This is not just the same old same old. Yes there is home made chocolate and some nice dessert treats, but both times we have eaten lunch. We have gotten the chocolate to take home. The special of the day was the quinoa protein bowl. It was filling and healthy , topped with chicken breast. The owner is very friendly. This is a nice central location, just down from the square and there is street parking.

Breakfast was delicious, the atmosphere and staff were fabulous and there was so many delicious homemade chocolate flavors to try. We left with full bellies and some peanut butter white chocolate. Will definitely be back for more!

Chocolates to satisfy and soothe the soul! This place makes- hands down- the most incredible and delicious treats that have all natural flavors from the natural ingredients. I'm not a fan of dark chocolate at all, but I ate an entire container of the dark chocolate cherry cordial. I've only received gifts from here, so far. I honestly can't wait to visit the store in person. They've already won me over!

Ken always makes s point of welcoming his customers. Here is a small town cafe with great atmosphere, friendly people, wonderful service and food. I have not had anything there that I haven't liked from the homemade tomato soup to the chocolates. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and the breakfast Panini is two meals for me, my daughter loves the breakfast bowl and the omelets are always a win. My grandson fell in love with his chocolate pancakes, he even had to take some home for lunch. Since his lunch specials change weekly I frequently get take out for dinner on a hectic night. The shepherd's pie serving even makes two meals for my husband. His fresh baked items are wonderful and you won't be disappointed.

For a gym shark this is a heaven. Protein waffle/pancake, protein breakfast bowls and their lunch is amazing. Great variety and constant change up on specials! Get some grub!

I am going to back for more. and - I am not kidding you. The chocolate IS really very good. Pinacolada is my favorite/white chocolate and there is a Whole lot to sample. My gift giving just got a whole lot easier... See you for Birthdays and Holidays too!

Get those samples and find your favorite chocolate blend. Black Cherry Dark Chocolate, White chocolate lemon, Chocolate Mimosa. Order a Panini stuffed with meat and cheese. No matter what you order we all enjoyed our meals.
